Checkpoint police shoot at lorry

The incident happened at about 1800 BST on Tuesday near Mullaghbawn. It is understood PSNI officers said they fired three shots when the driver of a lorry carrying stones allegedly failed to stop at a checkpoint. Police Ombudsman investigators have been examining the scene at Longfield Road. When officers fire shots, the Police Ombudsman must investigate. |
