A murder investigation has been launched after a woman's body was found in a freezer at her home in Hampshire.A murder investigation has been launched after a woman's body was found in a freezer at her home in Hampshire.
Police forced their way into a flat in Tyseley Road, Portsmouth on 13 August after concerns were raised about her welfare. The woman, named locally as Louise Brough, was found at a council flat at Wilmcote House, Tyseley Road, Portsmouth, on 13 August.
A 53-year-old man, from Southsea, was arrested on suspicion of murder. Police forced their way in after Portsmouth City Council raised concerns for the welfare of an "older" woman.

Formal identification procedures and a post-mortem examination have not yet taken place.
A Hampshire Police spokesman said initial enquiries indicated there was "no risk to the wider community".
"Until a post-mortem examination has taken place we are unable to confirm when the woman died," he said.
"The woman was located inside a property in Wilmcote House.
"We are not able to confirm further details relating to this as it could form part of evidence used by the prosecution should the case come to court.
"We are in the process of locating next of kin to conduct formal identification procedures."
