A woman has died within hours of a suspected house burglary in Llandudno, Conwy.A woman has died within hours of a suspected house burglary in Llandudno, Conwy.
The woman, in her 50s, had collapsed at a property in St David's Road after a disturbance at 22:30 BST on Sunday, said North Wales Police. Carole Anne Wall, 58, was pronounced dead at hospital early on Monday, about an hour and a half after police attended her home.
She was taken by ambulance to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan where police said she died during the early hours of Monday. Officers went to her home in St David's Road at 23:30 BST on Sunday after reports of a disturbance.
A 36-year-old man was arrested in the area on suspicion of burglary. A 36-year-old man is under arrest on suspicion of burglary. The north Wales coroner has opened an investigation.
A post mortem examination is to be carried out later to establish the cause of death. Police have also been conducting house-to-house inquiries in the area.
North Wales central coroner John Gittins said he will decide whether an inquest is necessary after that. Ms Wall's next of kin are being supported by police family liaison officers.
