About 20 people, including children, have been hurt in a collision between a school bus and a lorry in Cumbria. A bus driver has been arrested over a crash in which about 20 people, including children, were injured.
The crash happened on the A685 at Lowgill, Kendal, at about 0825 BST but no children are reported to have been seriously injured. The collision, which involved a school bus and a lorry, happened on the A685 at Lowgill, Kendal, at about 08:25 BST.
Cumbria Police said parents had been advised to contact their children's schools. Four adults, including the lorry driver, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, but none of the children are reported to be badly hurt.
The driver of the school bus, a 47-year-old local man, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

The 44-year-old HGV driver was removed from the cabin by emergency services and airlifted to Preston Hospital.
Three adult passengers on the bus were taken to Lancaster Hospital for treatment.
Cumbria Police said: "The bus was carrying passengers at the time, including school children aged between 13 and 16.
"No child has been seriously injured."
Accident investigators were at the scene, and the road remains closed, with diversions in place.
