For the record

Version 0 of 1.

Our interview with U2 frontman Bono last week discussed the group's tax arrangements and claimed it had taken a decision to send its income offshore to the Dutch Antilles, a tax haven. This was incorrect. To clarify: one of the group's companies resides in the Netherlands, not the Dutch Antilles. ("Bono's biggest gig", New Review, page 12).

It was Robert, not Edward, Kennedy who was assassinated in 1968 ("American gun use is out of control. Shouldn't the world intervene?" Comment, early editions last week, page 40). Edward died in 2009.

"Credit unions in Glasgow push out payday lenders as city tackles personal debt crisis" (Business, last week, page 44) described Mike Dailly as chair of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Consumer Panel. In fact, he is chair of one of two working groups of the FCA Consumer Panel. The chair of the FCA Consumer Panel is Sue Lewis.

Production gremlins presented baffled AZED crossword solvers with an incorrect grid last week. Sincere apologies.

Spot the (near) homophone: "…baddies who have alluded justice" (TV last week, page 43, New Review).
