A search has been launched for a man feared missing in the Severn estuary. A man who went missing from a boat in the Severn estuary has been found dead.

The multi-agency Severn Area Rescue Association is involved in the search off the Pill, home to Chepstow and District Yacht Club. Gwent Police said they joined the coastguard in a search and found the body of the man, from the Swindon area, in the water at 13:55 BST.
A coastguard spokesman said its mud rescue team was being sent to the scene, and that Gwent Police were investigating the possibility of an accident in the water. A force spokesperson said the death was not being treated as suspicious, and that specially trained offices were supporting his family.
