A man has been found dead at a house after three properties collapsed and two others were damaged in a suspected gas explosion, Scotland Yard said. Two people have been found dead at a house after three properties collapsed in a suspected gas explosion.

The Met Police said that one woman was still unaccounted for. At about 12:00 GMT the body of a man, believed to be in his 40s, was found. Later a woman's body was discovered.
Three people managed to escape the building, and a woman was taken to hospital with burns. The cause is being investigated by London Fire Brigade. Officers have notified the man's next of kin and are working to establish the identity of the woman who died. Three people were also taken to hospital.
Station manager Matthew Burrows said: "We have got crews onsite from our specialist search and rescue teams who are shoring up the building so we that we can carry out a search internally to confirm if anyone else is in there." The cause of the explosion is being investigated by London Fire Brigade.

In total five people and three dogs managed to escape the building.
A man and a woman were treated for cuts to their faces and were later released from hospital, while another woman was treated for burns to her hand.
Officials are investigating whether the fallen tree damaged gas pipes which led to the explosion.
London Fire Commissioner Ron Dobson said: "My thoughts are with the friends, family and loved ones of those who lost their lives in Hounslow.
"Firefighters and investigators remain at the scene to establish what caused the gas explosion."
Surrounding homes have been evacuated and local roads have been closed.

A man was taken to hospital after a tree fell on to a van in Gunnersbury Avenue, west London, the London Ambulance Service (LAS) said.
A 26-year-old man was also hit by a falling tree near Clapton Common, east London, and was taken to hospital suffering from head and neck pain.
Peter McKenna, deputy director of operations at LAS, said: "It is proving to be a busy morning for us for storm-related injuries.
"We would encourage anyone to consider if their journey is entirely necessary."
