Co-written by Audiard, Thomas Bidegain, Abdel Raouf Dafri and Nicolas Peufaillit, it is the epic tale of a French-Algerian teenager who falls in with the Corsican mafia while in jail, and eventually becomes a top-level gangster in his own right.
