Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of an 81-year-old woman was discovered in a house. An 80-year-old man has been charged with murdering his 81-year-old wife, police have said.

An 80-year-old man was arrested in the house and a short time later a 55-year-old man was held in nearby Havant. Peter Richard Beaver, of the same address, is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Both men are being questioned at different police stations in Hampshire. The circumstances surrounding the death are suspicious, police said. A 55-year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of murder has been released with no further action.
Det Ch Insp Darren Rawlings said: "I'd like to reassure residents and visitors in Leigh Park that our initial inquiries suggest there is no wider risk to the community." A Hampshire Police spokesman said he was now assisting detectives as a witness.
