A County Roscommon family who were the subject of a child rescue alert have been found safe and well in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh. | |
Fiona Gregg, 41, and her children Killian, eight, Elisha, six, and Derbhla, two, had last been seen at a school in Ballyforan, Roscommon, at about 15:00 GMT on Wednesday. | |
A Child Rescue Ireland (CRI) alert was issued by gardaĆ on Thursday morning. | |
It was cancelled after the family was found by the PSNI on Thursday morning. | |
It was only the second time a CRI alert had been issued by the Garda since the policy was initiated in 2012. | |
The alerts are only launched where a child is under the age of 18, where there is a reasonable belief that the child has been abducted or where there is a reasonable belief that there is an immediate and serious risk to the health or welfare of a child. |
