A 22-year-old man has admitted murdering Shropshire teenager Georgia Williams. A man has admitted murdering Georgia Williams, the 17-year-old daughter of a police detective.
Georgia, 17, went missing from her home in Wellington on 26 May. Jamie Reynolds, of Avondale Road, Wellington, Shropshire, pleaded guilty to murder at Stafford Crown Court. Post-mortem tests revealed she died of pressure being applied to her neck.
Jamie Reynolds, 22, of Avondale Road, Wellington, Shropshire, pleaded guilty to murder at Stafford Crown Court. He will be sentenced on 19 December.
Miss Williams' father, Stephen, is a detective constable with the West Mercia force.
