http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cambridgeshire-25185266 Version 0 of 1. A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a doorman who was shot in the back of the head in 1995. The body of Ian Grant, 24, of Cherry Hinton, Cambridgeshire, was found on wasteland near Fulbourn Hospital. Police last week said they had re-opened the inquiry after forensic evidence came to light. A 49-year-old was arrested in Cambridge on Monday morning. Police said he had not been previously arrested in connection with the investigation. Two men had stood trial for Mr Grant's murder and were acquitted. His body was found shortly after midnight on 15 November, having left his nearby flat the previous evening. His girlfriend's car had also been set alight outside their flat in Speedwell Close two weeks prior to his murder. Detectives still believe that incident is linked to the killing. |
