Harvey Lee Williams, two, was reported missing by his mother at 11:55 GMT on Monday, the coroner's hearing in Wrexham was told. Police began a search but an ambulance was called minutes later after Harvey was found face down in the pond. North East Wales Coroner John Gittins adjourned the hearing until spring. The partner of Harvey's mother tried to resuscitate the boy until paramedics arrived and took over, the hearing was told. The boy was further treated at Wrexham Maelor Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A post-mortem examination was carried out at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool, and the pathologist has indicated Harvey's death was due to drowning.
