The most important people in history have been determined, using algorithms that process internet data from Wikipedia and other sources to come up with a ranking of significance.

Unsurprisingly, Jesus tops the list in the book Who's Bigger? Where Historical Figures Really Rank, with Napoleon in second place, and Muhammad in third. Shakespeare, Hitler and Lincoln also make the all-male top 10. The authors corrected for the benefit of recency by measuring how fast reputation tends to decay and weighting the results accordingly, but the current British prime minister still made the cut at 1,483.
