The pair, who have already spent more than four months in jail, faced a maximum sentence of 15 years. The pair were sentenced to eight years in jail, reduced on account of their guilty pleas.
According to their lawyer they have received the minimum sentencing. Their sentences will run from their arrest on 6 August, to 6 August 2020.
The Superior Court of Justice in Lima also ruled that the two women pay a fine of 10,000 soles (£2,226) each.
