Version 0 of 1.

The partner of a paralyzed woman who lost a highly publicized court battle in Ireland to let him help her commit suicide said Friday that she had died. The woman, Marie Fleming, 59, had multiple sclerosis, a disease that attacks the central nervous system. In April, Ireland’s Supreme Court rejected her appeal to let her partner, Tom Curran, help her commit suicide, ruling that the Irish Constitution conferred no “right to die.” Mr. Curran said Ms. Fleming died early Friday morning at home in Arklow.
