Lisburn: Man, 53, killed in Christmas Eve crash

A 53-year-old man has died in a car accident in County Antrim.

It happened on the Lough Road, Ballinderry, shortly before 20:30 GMT on Christmas Eve.

A 38-year-old woman was taken to hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police said the man was driving the car at the time of the crash. No other vehicles were involved.
