Authorities said on Sunday that a man suspected of killing three people and setting fire to a home in southern Colorado had been captured in Oklahoma after a nationwide manhunt.

Sheriff Kirk Taylor of Pueblo County, Colorado, said 59-year-old Harry Carl Mapps was captured at a motel in Roland, Oklahoma on Saturday night. No other details were released.

Mapps was wanted on charges of fatally shooting 55-year-old Kim Tuttle, her 51-year-old husband, Reggie Tuttle and their 33-year-old daughter, Dawn Roderick. Their bodies were found in the Tuttles' home in Rye after the house burned down on 27 November. The fire was ruled arson.

The US Marshals Service issued a fugitive warrant for Mapps and said authorities were searching for him around the country.
