Body of missing Rhys Trimby, 21, found in River Sirhowy

The body of missing man Rhys Trimby, who disappeared during a night out before Christmas, has been found in a river on an industrial estate.

Gwent Police said the discovery was made in the River Sirhowy at Nine Mile Point estate in Cwmfelinfach, Caerphilly county, on Sunday.

Mr Trimby, 21, from Swffryd, was last seen on 20 December.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and police say they are are not looking for anyone else.

Mr Trimby left Harley's Sports Cafe in Oakdale on 20 December at 22:40 GMT.

He said he was going to visit friends in Blackwood but failed to arrive.
