Meanwhile, the QEII bridge at the Dartford Crossing has reopened after it was closed due to high winds earlier. Mr Prisyazhnyuk found his home had been cut off after returning from a family holiday, and was forced to relocate to a hotel with his wife and three children.
Speaking earlier, he said: "It's pretty bad, I would say, as I haven't had any response from the power company, and all the time they just promise to restore power and they haven't."
