Mark Harrop wanted over rape of woman in Hyde

A manhunt has begun after a woman was raped at a house in Greater Manchester.

Mark Harrop, 30, who has links with Brinnington and Wythenshawe, is wanted by Greater Manchester Police over the rape of a woman in her 20s on Friday in Hyde.

Det Ch Insp Dave Warren, said: "Mark Harrop knows he is wanted by us in connection with a very serious offence.

"Attempts to locate him are ongoing but I am now at a stage where I want to ask for the public's help in locating him."

He said anyone who sees Mr Harrop should call police immediately.
