A teenager has been arrested over the death of a man who suffered serious injuries late on New Year's Eve. Three people have been arrested over the death of an amateur boxer who suffered serious injuries at a New Year's Eve party.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested and is being questioned as part of a murder investigation, Cleveland Police said. A 17-year-old, a 23-year-old and a man in his 20s have been arrested on suspicion of murder, police said.
Post-mortem tests began on Wednesday. A number of addresses in the Hartlepool area have been searched in connection with the investigation.
Officers have cordoned off the house and are carrying out inquiries in the area. Det Ch Insp Anne-Marie Salwey, who is leading the investigation, said: "Our thoughts are with Mark's family at this particularly sad time, who are being supported by specially-trained officers.
An address was also searched in Bruntoft Avenue in the town. "We are currently establishing the circumstances leading up to Mark's death, and following a number of lines of inquiry. I would particularly appeal for anyone who was at the party last night and who we haven't yet spoken to to get in touch."
Police have asked anyone with information to contact them.
