Police investigate murder after disturbance in Govan

Police are treating the death of a man in Glasgow in the early hours of Friday as murder.

Officers were called to a disturbance in a flat in Drive Road, Govan, at about 02:00.

A 26-year-old man died following the incident. A post-mortem examination will be carried out on the victim, whose name has not been released.

It is understood that officers are pursuing a definite line of inquiry in connection with the death.
