On Friday, South Staffordshire MP Gavin Williamson called for buses to be provided for inmates leaving Oakwood, Featherstone and Brinsford to stop them hassling residents.
He said people living near the prisons were being asked for directions to bus stops by released inmates and wanted shuttle buses to be introduced to enable them to reach Wolverhampton and Cannock.
