The BBC has asked Vodafone for a comment. Vodafone said recent performance had not been up to standard.

Duncan Ruthwell said when he complained to Vodafone he was told there was not a problem and was asked 'do you know how to use your phone?'. A Vodafone spokeswoman said: "The site is carrying calls and data but we are aware that the performance is not as good as it should be over recent weeks."
He has now cancelled his contract.
