Boy, 14, charged with Padiham child sex attack

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with sexually assaulting an eight-year-old girl in Lancashire.

The girl was assaulted in Padiham on 2 January, police said.

The teenager, from Padiham, was charged with four offences including sexual assault, child abduction and common assault.

He is due to appear at Blackburn Magistrates' Court later.
