Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal calls off sit-in protest in city centre Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called off a sit-in protest in the city centre which was sparked by a row over who controls Delhi's police force.
More to follow. Mr Kejriwal had spent the night in the open and conducted business with cabinet members from the street.
His administration had accused the police of failing to deal with an alleged prostitution and organised crime ring - something they denied.
Police clashed with protestors who gathered to join him on Tuesday.
Mr Kejriwal, addressing a crowd, said that two policeman he wanted suspended for misconduct would be sent on leave, AFP reports.
"Let's end the protest here today," he said.
