Counting is under way in the Fife constituency of Cowdenbeath as voters choose a new MSP for the seat. Alex Rowley has held the Scottish Parliament Cowdenbeath seat for Labour in the by-election sparked by the death of sitting MSP Helen Eadie.
Polling stations in the Scottish parliamentary constituency were open from 07:00 until 22:00. There were seven candidates taking part in the contest, with voting taking place throughout Thursday.
There are seven candidates taking part in the contest. Counting of the votes is taking place in Dalgety Bay. More soon.
