Three people have been killed in shooting at shopping mall in Maryland, US. Three people have been killed in a shooting at a shopping centre in Maryland in the US, police say.
Details are still coming in. The incident was reported at 11:15 (16:15 GMT), after which Howard County Police urged people inside the suburban Columbia Mall "to stay in place".
They said one of the dead was "located near gun and ammunition" - he was suspected to be the gunman.
The centre, about 45 minutes outside the US capital Washington DC, is a popular weekend shopping destination.
There is no information about the other two dead people.
At about 12:36 (17:36 GMT), police said the scene was "believed to be secure".
