Linda:When I walked over I was feeling a little nervous but mostly excited. Within five minutes, my date arrived. David: I told her that I had read, like, 100 Date Labs the night before. And she said she’d done the same thing. Linda: He is a middle school English teacher. He also coaches 5-to-8-year-olds in running, which is so cute. Linda: Our conversation just got more silly, because we talked about how much we both like board games and reading, and we were sharing that we both really love Boggle and Jenga. David: David: I don’t know many other people who know Boggle or play it with any regularity, but it was like a family thing for me growing up, and she also had a family that played lots of games. We did Boggle and Jenga, and I knocked the tower over on the very first piece that I pulled out, which was great.

David: David: She said that she wanted to be with a guy who was Jewish. She told me that her favorite holiday was Passover, which I had never heard before. It’s a cool holiday, it’s a great time with family, but she said that at her seder, they divide into teams and each team has to bring in a song that tells part of the Passover story, and I was like, “Well I want to go to that.”

UPDATE: The pair talks daily and have already gone on several more dates, including to the U.S. Botanic Garden and ice skating. “I have a great time when we are together,” Linda says.
