Local DUP councillor Guy Spence said such attacks were not wanted.
"I'm wholeheartedly shocked, and certainly speaking on behalf of the whole community, speaking on behalf of our party, we condemn it absolutely," he said.
"Actions like this aren't welcoming for this community, or any community whatsoever, and this community has came through an awful lot in the past and actions like this don't help it."
