Men arrested after baby snatched Men charged with theft of child

Two men are due to appear in court after a 10-month-old baby was snatched from a shop in Dunbartonshire. Two men have appeared in private at Dumbarton Sheriff Court charged with the theft of a child.
The child went missing at about 1325 BST on Thursday from the Marie Curie charity shop in Alexandria. William Wilson, 51, and Gavin Black, 43, both from Alexandria, made no plea or declaration and were remanded in custody.
The girl was found after a two-hour search and reunited with her 25-year-old mother. They are due to appear in court again next week. Mr Black was also charged with possessing heroin.
Strathclyde Police said two men aged 51 and 43 had been arrested. The pair are expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on a charge of child stealing. It comes after a 10-month-old baby girl went missing for two hours from a shop in Alexandria on Thursday.
The men have been detained in custody.
They have been charged with plagium, which is an offence of child abduction.
