Version 0 of 1.

The SNP group leader on Scotland's largest council is to step down.

Councillor Graeme Hendry will stand aside from the role on Glasgow City Council in May.

Mr Hendry cited personal reasons for his decision and said he wanted a better work-life balance.

He took up the post as group leader two years ago. Mr Hendry will remain a councillor and his successor as SNP leader will be chosen later in the spring.
