Meanwhile the MoJ has confirmed that there was a disturbance in Cardiff prison on Thursday, but it was unconnected to the suspicious death.
The disturbance, which involved two inmates, began at 07:30 GMT and ended when they surrendered to prison officers at 13:40 GMT.
A Tornado team of specially trained prison officers was on standby but was not needed.
The incident was resolved peacefully and no-one was injured.
The inmates involved will now be dealt with by the prison service, the MoJ said.
