Four arrests in connection with a fatal Bristol stabbing

Four men have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of 19-year-old Bristol man.

Nicholas Robinson, who lived in Jamaica Street, was found injured in Lower Gay Street, close to Stokes Croft, on Wednesday evening.

The men, aged 18, 20, 25 and 26, are in custody for questioning.

Mr Robinson had been attacked in a communal stairwell at Ron Jones House, after leaving his flat at about 20:30 GMT.

According to police, the offender left the building following the attack and turned right into Stokes Croft.

Anyone who witnessed a man leaving the building and running from the area at about 20:30 GMT on Wednesday is being urged to contact the police.

Three people who were initially arrested in connection with Mr Robinson's death have been released without charge.
