Those app developers wanting to enter the competition have until 18 April 2014 to submit their apps at www.appmycity.org. To qualify, their app must have been publicly launched between 1 January 2013 and 1 May 2014. Guardian Cities will announce the list of 10 semi-finalists on 6 May.
