xxx Gabby Logan sambas off dance show
(about 5 hours later)
xxx BBC Sport presenter and former gymnast Gabby Logan has been voted off BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing show.
She was the fourth celebrity to leave the programme after a dance-off with model Penny Lancaster Stewart.
Logan's husband Kenny, a sports pundit and former Scottish rugby player, is still in the show despite achieving far lower scores.
Head judge Len Goodman said she needed more "bounce action" but that she had done a good job of a difficult dance.
Her husband was told he had "the grace of a vacuum cleaner" by judge Bruno Tonioli.
Viewers beat X Factor
Logan, 36, is the daughter of former Wales international football player and manager Terry Yorath. She married in 2001 and had twins in 2005.
Strictly Come Dancing won more viewers on Saturday night than ITV1's X Factor, according to the BARB data figures.
Strictly got an average of 7.9 million viewers and a 37.1% share, peaking at 8.7 million, compared with X Factor's 7.1 million average and 33.1% share.
The ITV show's audience peaked at 9.3 million but this was only after the dance show came off air.
