Investigators are trying to establish why a young man killed on the M25 in Kent was running away from police officers when he was hit by a van. A teenager who was hit by a van on the M25 after running away from police has been named as Dean Christopher Taylor.
The 18-year-old victim was struck by the vehicle on the A282 approach road to the Dartford Tunnel. The death of the 18-year-old, from Dartford, Kent, is being investigated by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
Police had earlier been called to an incident in a nearby residential area. Investigators are trying to establish why he was running away from officers.
