A section of the Waterworks Park has been closed close to the Cliftonville Road, and homes in Linden Gardens have been evacuated, after the discovery of a suspicious object. Army bomb disposal experts carried out a controlled explosion on a suspicious object found in the Waterworks Park.
Police and Army bomb disposal experts are at the scene. The park has been reopened and residents in Linden Gardens who were moved have been allowed to return to their homes.
