The 20-year-old's parents have travelled there to help the search. His parents have travelled to Cumbria to help with the search.

"It is so out of character for him not to have been in touch with anyone. We just want to hear from you Matthew.

"His friends and family are continuing to help police in the search and again we appeal for any help from the public in the search for Matthew."
