Three people have been hauled 100ft to safety in Snowdonia.

The men, from Portsmouth, raised the alarm at 17:30 BST on Monday after getting stuck at Cwm Idwal.

Volunteers from Ogwen Mountain Rescue Team pulled the men, who were not hurt, up the mountain using rope.

A spokesman for the rescue team said the "motivated and enthusiastic" men made a navigational error in low cloud.
