Carnesky's Ghost Train, Blackpool Artist, magician, dancer and performer Marisa Carnesky says goodbye to her captivatingly spooky Ghost Train in the fitting surroundings of Blackpool with 10 days of live performances inside the little house of horrors on wheels. You'll witness the macabre, the ghoulish and the terrifying, and don't expect this to be like any ghost train you may find further along the promenade at the Pleasure Beach. Now in its 10th year, it is part live theatre and part grotesque fairground ride gone scarily awry. Flagstaff Gardens, to 21 Apr IA Pace Egg, nr Hebden Bridge There are few better places to make a Good Friday pilgrimage to than the hilltop village of Heptonstall, whose car-unfriendly cobbled lanes will host the annual Pace Egg play.
