Daniel Sturgess dies after being found in Cartlett Road, Haverfordwest

Daniel Sturgess, from Haverfordwest, was discovered by a passing motorist at about 00:40 BST in the town's Cartlett Road. Dyfed-Powys Police are treating the death as unexplained. The road was closed while investigations were carried out but has since reopened. Officers said Mr Sturgess, known locally as Danny Large, was taken to Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest where he died. His next of kin have been informed. "An investigation is underway into the circumstances of this unexplained death and we are appealing for witnesses or anyone that was in the area of Cartlett Road between midnight and 00:40 this morning and can provide any information to contact us on 101," said a police statement. "We are also keen to speak to anyone who saw him or knows what his movements were between midday yesterday and 00:40 please call 101. "We thank the community for their understanding and patience in this matter whilst the investigation is ongoing, and will provide updates as appropriate." |
