Pauline Butler death: Man charged over Rawdon murder

A 62-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a woman who was stabbed to death in Leeds.

The body of Pauline Butler, 61, was discovered at a property in Cherry Lea Court, in Rawdon, at about 11:30 BST on Monday.

A post mortem examination found she died of blood loss having sustained a number of stab wounds.

John Butler, of Larkfield Road in Rawdon, Leeds, will appear before Leeds Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
