A 26-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a two-year-old girl in Kelty, Fife. A 26-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of two-year-old Madison Horn in Kelty in Fife.
Madison Horne was pronounced dead on Sunday after being taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. Kevin Park, from Kelty, made no plea or declaration at Dunfermline Sheriff Court and was remanded in custody.
Officers had been called to a house in Croftangry Road at about 18:30 on Sunday night after reports of "concern for a child". Police were called to a house in Croftangry Road in the town on Sunday evening. Madison was taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy where she was pronounced dead.
Police said the man was due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court later. Mr Park is due to appear in court again on 30 April.
