Prince George received a personalised skateboard during a visit to a skate park in Elizabeth, South Australia yesterday.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge accepted the gift for the young Prince, which they will add to their extensive collection of presents received from well-wishers during the recent Royal tour.

The skateboard features a customised design with George’s name painted on the side, along with two kangaroos and two Australian flags.

The Duke of Cambridge reportedly turned down requests to ride the skateboard himself, and handed the gift to a minder.

Over the course of the Royal tour down under, Prince George has amassed a number of gifts from members of the public. Stuffed toys appear to be a popular choice for well-wishers, but the Prince has also received a small boat, a surfboard and a mini bike.

Some 5,000 spectators turned out to watch the Royal couple at the skate park.
