Portadown death: Man dies after being hit by car on Gilford Road Two killed in Dromore and Portadown road accidents

A man in his 40s has died in a road accident in County Armagh. Two men have died in separate road accidents in Northern Ireland.
He was struck by a car after getting out of a taxi on the Gilford Road outside Portadown shortly before 02:00 BST on Sunday. A man was killed when his car was in collision with another vehicle on Banbridge Road in Dromore, County Down.
The road, that was closed between the Breagh Road and the Moyallen Road roundabout, has been reopened. The man's name has not yet been released. It happened at about 18:00 BST on Sunday. The other driver was not seriously injured.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them. In County Armagh, a man in his 40s died when he was struck by a car after getting out of a taxi on the Gilford Road outside Portadown shortly before 02:00 BST on Sunday.
The man's name has not yet been released.
