Jake Newsome, of Harehills in Leeds, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court to admit a malicious communication charge. Jake Newsome wrote in the aftermath of the killing he was "glad" she had been stabbed and that he "felt sorry" for the boy accused of her murder.
Newsome, 21, is expected to be sentenced on 4 June. The 21-year-old then completed his post with an obscene suggestion. Newsome is due to reappear at Leeds Magistrates' Court on 4 June for sentencing.
A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, has been charged with Mrs Maguire's murder and is due to stand trial in November. A 15-year-old boy is due to stand trial for the teacher's murder in November.
Det Ch Insp Nick Wallen, of West Yorkshire Police, told an inquest on Tuesday the teacher had suffered a number of stab wounds but one to her neck, which severed the major vein, was the fatal injury. Mrs Maguire was stabbed at Corpus Christi Catholic College in east Leeds on 28 April.
The officer told the inquest "They were directed to the top floor modern languages department where paramedics initially attended to Mrs Ann Maguire - a teacher at the school - who was very seriously injured having been stabbed." Newsome, of Harehills in Leeds, who admitted a malicious communication charge, was bailed by Magistrate Roy Anderson but warned that "all sentencing options were open".
Mrs Maguire died on 28 April after being fatally injured at the school in the east of Leeds, where emergency services were called just before midday.
