"Gun fire" has been heard by neighbours in a Liverpool street which has been sealed off by police. A person has been shot by armed police who entered a house in Liverpool, police investigators have said.
Merseyside Police said armed officers were at the incident at a house on Shellingford Road in Dovecot. The Independent Police Complaints Commission said investigators were at Shellingford Road, Dovecot, following a "non fatal police shooting".
