Other students looked on in horror as a member of staff, thought to be a receptionist, was targeted by the attacker.
Aaron studies at the college. He said: "She was standing over by the wall and the wee lad ran over to her and grabbed her and she thought that he was going to attack her so she started shouting for help."
She was unhurt.
